Spencer & Kara Tuckerman
This weekend I had the privilege of attending and being a part of my best friends, Kara & Spencer's wedding. This wedding has been long awaited by family and friends since they have loved each other for 9 tender years before their wedding on August 4th. The same year that I met Kara (when she quickly became my lifelong friend) she met Spencer. So really, I have known them together as one for almost a decade.
There could not have been a more perfect night to rehearse for the wedding. The sun was peaking through the trees, giving a golden ora as if the angels were looking down upon them ( I know for a fact they were).
The next day us ladies spent the whole morning freaking out and trying to hold it together emotionally (while also doing hair, having fun, drinking champagne, & listening to music). Luckily we didn't have to sweat the little things because family and friends took on the preparation for the night.
When we arrived at the house for the wedding it seemed like a fairytale wedding. Straight out of a young girls wedding dreams. Dreams really do come true.
One thing that I tried contributing to the wedding was a DIY donut wall. I really wanted to help out since Kara has always been one to help everyone around her. Once I told my parents of my idea they took it off my hands and turned it into their very own version. I picked up donuts the morning of the wedding and added them to our masterpiece and was so happy with the results. It seemed like a hit.
Special thanks to Alisha Uguccini for taking over my camera while I was a part of the wedding (unfortunately you can't capture everything when you're in the wedding). She captured the most important time of the day, the ceremony.
Kara and Spencer have so many people that love and adore them, that putting together their very own DIY wedding (from the view of someone on the outside seemed like a cinch) turned out to be one of the most magical nights.
I simply could not put my camera down.

The wedding was held at Spencer's Aunt Penni's house, a venue that others have only dreamed of having.
Kara and Spencer were the most grateful couple. Kara has always been one of my most gracious friends that constantly thanks everyone for the things they do for her. So of course she had to give back with some of the most thoughtful gifts I have seen.
The rehearsal dinner was also held at Aunt Penni's home and was one of the most intimate, elegant nights of my life. It was filled with laughter, love and tears while family and friends told stories. How can two people be so loved? It was simply perfection.

This weekend was full of small intimate moments and the way that Kara's mother looked at her in her wedding dress was one of my favorite.

As soon as we got there friends and family started to arrive and nerves were setting in. At least for me they were and I can only imagine how Kara felt at this time. She somehow always has a calm and collected look about her even in the most stressful of times.
Once the ceremony was over it was time for lots of food, fun, pictures, and of course dancing (maybe a little more crying too). It was time to hangout and celebrate with MR. and MRS. TUCKERMAN.
Side note: I adored all the ladies in the bridal party Kara is one lucky to bride to have these ladies on her side.
THE RECEPTION
Congratulations to one of my favorite couples of all time. I am so glad to have been a big part of your life thus far and can't wait to continue to be. I wish you both years of happiness, laughter, and many adventures.
I love you.
